Violent street gangs are embedded in neighborhoods everywhere.
But most police agencies have little understanding of how to confront the threat.
Officers are expected to manage growing gang problems without the intel, structure, or support they actually need. It’s a recipe for frustration, stagnation, and missed opportunities.
Led by retired Violent Crimes Lieutenant Brian Sanders, Building The Machine pulls directly from 20+ years of experience debriefing hundreds of gang members, building proactive units, and working joint RICO cases with the FBI.
Originally presented live at the NCGIA-North Carolina Gang Investigators Association Conference in 2022, this online video course focuses on how to develop actionable intel on gangs, prioritize responses, create a proactive unit, debrief sources/gang members, and how to clear cases armed with this intelligence.
Whether you’re building a gang unit from scratch or enhancing your current team’s effectiveness, this course shows you proven strategies to identify, disrupt, and dismantle the most violent gangs.
This is a must have training for anyone tasked with investigating criminal street gangs.
